Italian Play – Call for Participants

“Teatro significa vivere davvero quello che gli altri, nella vita, recitano male.” ― Eduardo De Filippo

Are you interested in the beauty of acting? Do you want an opportunity to perform in an Italian-language show? THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!

Renowned professional theatre director Ludovico Nolfi is returning to Cambridge to put on another Italian classic, written by Eduardo De Filippo.

The initial workshop will be held online and is open to everyone!

If you would like to take part in the workshop, please fill this form by the 24 November or contact us for more information at cuitaliansoc@gmail.com.

We plan to hold the session after the 3 December on Zoom. You will have the opportunity to explore different roles and experiment with one of the most celebrated and beloved Italian comedies (explore past editions) in a really inclusive environment.

If you wish to participate in the Italian play after the workshop, you will receive further information on the schedule and what will happen next.

There are no specific slots; come along and get involved with other actors and students. Everyone is welcome to join – even if you don’t speak Italian, assistance will be at hand! Remember that you don’t need to be a professional actor or have any previous experience. Amateurs are more than welcome!

If you are interested at all, we promise that it’s an opportunity not to be missed to learn the art of acting from an industry professional.
