Organised by the Cambridge University Italian Society and the Italian Section of the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of London. The screening is part of the conference “The Battle of Algiers at 60”, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the film, which premiered at and won the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival in 1966.
